It was raining when I arrived this place. Still there are group of visitors from China, standing in front of the Victory fountain taking photos.
p/s : Victory fountain is dedicated to the memory of Queen Victoria Regina [1837 - 1901] in United Kingdom
Malacca States Government had put so much effort in this area to attract visitors around the World. Too bad, what I discover, there are too many stall selling local souvenirs, watches, cloth and non-related to historic items.
Too bad huh ? I believed visitors want to see or want to know more about Malacca history. If local authorities can put (framed)more old photos, old handwriting scripts, development progress from last century on these building wall, then it will add more attractive points to visitors.
It is quite rush for me, when I was visiting Stadthuys, due to heavy rain. I only managed to get these photos for 1 hour trip. By the way, please feel free to have 2-3 hours tour at Stadthuys area, you will found some surprise.
Oh yes, before I forget, Stadthuys is very near to Menara Taming Sari and Maritime museum, just a walking distance.
