How to Cook Tomato pot fried rice

I had left my D.I.Y section quite long time.  The idea to cook this dishes came across my head yesterday.  I don’t remember which program I watch in TV, is either Jammie Oliver or Chef at Home that cooked this dishes but not with rice, with seafood.

Ok, back to the title,  how to make it ?

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of medium size prawn
  • 200 grams of Chicken breast meat(chop into small piece)
  • Spring Onion
  • Garlic (tea spoon)
  • Dry onion (tea spoon)
  • Bowl of rice(cooked)

Method :

  • Prepare the Tomato pot
    1. Cut the top of Tomato (see picture)
    2. Scoop out all the Tomato ‘meat’ and make it like a small bowl
    3. Grilled the Tomato (2 minutes), then put it a side
  • Fried the rice
    1. Fried the Garlic and Dry onion until the smell come out(30 seconds)
    2. Put in the Prawn, cooked for 1 minute
    3. Put in the Chicken breast meat, cooked for 1 minute
    4. Pour in the rice, turn up the heat
    5. Stir or whip the rice frequently, avoid it burnt or charred
    6. Make a space in the middle of the wok / pan
    7. Put it an egg and mixed up with rice evenly
    8. Cook for 1 minute and ladle it out from wok / pan
    9. Ready to serve
  • Scoop the rice and put it into the Tomato and cover the top and now ready to serve

Suggestion: Tomato is just a decoration, point is the fried rice.  You can make a modification if you like, replace the fried rice with combination of Prawn, Salmon and Celery.  Just make what you like.  Have fun!
