DIY – Fried Glutinous rice cake and Sweet potato

Remember my previous post – Steam Glutinous rice cake and milled coconut ?  If you still have reserved some glutinous rice cake, then you can make another snacks called – Fried Glutinous rice cake and sweet potato (combo).

Ingredients:

  • Glutinous rice cake
  • Sweet potatoes
  • Flour (1/2 cup)
  • Water

Method:

  1. Cut Glutinous rice cake into small thin slice
  2. Cut the Sweet potato into small slice
  3. Mix the flour and water, stir evenly until it look sticky
  4. Heat up oil (medium)
  5. Clip a slice of glutinous rice cake between 2 pieces of sweet potato
  6. Dunk into the flour mixture and put it into wok, fried for 2-3 minutes

tips: Keep over night (2 days), when you buy sweet potatoes – it will make the sweet potato more soft and sweet.
