People who want to visit Melaka recently, it is adviced that, postponed your trip for few weeks. No local authorities is confirmed when is this condition will getting better.
Many people suffer soar throat and fever due to this air pollution (bad weather). Drinking plenty of water and eating healthy foods(more vegetables and fruits) can help your health.

I don’t know others state in Malaysia are having same condition or not. According to local newspaper, Melaka is the worst state under haze and fog.
