Warning: gzuncompress() [function.gzuncompress]: data error in /home/melakabe/public_html/wp-includes/http.php on line 1831. I got this message on top of my Wordpress control panel after upgrading my blog to Wordpress version 2.9. Anybody who had faced same problem can go to http://core.trac.wordpress.org/export/11450/trunk/wp-includes/http.php, download the http.php, upload into your server and replace the old one.
