Both Maxis and Digi had come out with Android phone which bundled with their packages. By offering different call packages and data packages, both want to win more customer(new or existing).
Maxis is offering special price for HTC, Samsung and Sony Ericsson Android(OS) with their rate plan.
Digi in other hand is offering special price for Blackberry and HTC phone with DG Smart Plan.
And the most Hottest hand phone – Apple iPhone 4 is now become the ‘War Field’ for both Maxis and Digi since its already available in the market (24th September 2010).
So What is Android ?
Android is an Operating System for hand phone which developed by Google. It is an Open Source which using Linux as platform. Any one who are interesting in, is FREE to develop the application(Using JAVA) and FREE to use it. Compare to Apple Store or OVI Store(Nokia), Android Market is small but is growing time to time. You can download some FREE Android applications from Android Market to experience the new technology.
